SUMMARY
Working in conjunction with the overall vision, mission, and objectives for Pinelake Church, the Preschool Associate provides supervision and leadership to preschool ministry, focusing on children from Birth to Kindergarten and their families. This position invests in and leads the Madison campus servant leader team to foster spiritual growth, relational development, and ministry excellence. The Preschool Associate also supports processes and procedures to create a safe environment, implement the vision, organize weekly ministry activities, and nurture the spiritual, evangelical, and relational foundations for families at Pinelake Church through servant-leader owned ministries.
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES
- Coordinate with the overall goals and objectives of Pinelake Church.
- Collaborate with Pinelake leadership to plan, oversee, and evaluate all components of Little Lakers at the Madison Campus.
- Maintain a vital and growing personal walk with the Lord through Bible study, prayer, meditation, and practicing L3.
- Prioritize your home life, including your spouse and children (if applicable).
- Support Pinelake ministries by practicing wise stewardship of entrusted resources.
- Stay actively involved in the community.
- Practice and reflect a growing awareness of personal Emotional Healthy Spirituality.
- Perform duties in a manner that glorifies Christ and furthers Pinelake Church’s mission (Colossians 3 : 23-24).

SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide leadership, shepherding, recruitment, onboarding, equipping, oversight, pastoral care, and encouragement for Little Lakers servant leaders.Ensure the safety of the Children’s Ministry by certifying all servant leaders following Pinelake’s Our House Promise, worker applications, background checks, and safety policies.Maintain staffing for small group coaches, leaders, and special events.Plan, coordinate, and conduct three baby dedications annually.Lead, guide, and support paid childcare staff and administrative functions.Promote and communicate activities supporting Sunday preschool ministry to staff, leaders, and parents.Create a welcoming environment for visitors and follow up with first-time visitors.Build relationships with preschool families through personal contact and meetings.Manage the Preschool Ministry budget within the parameters set by leadership.Collaborate with ministry teams supporting preschool ministry.Assist in worship and special events as needed.Provide leadership for other Preschool Ministries.Participate in hospital visitations, especially for families with new or sick preschoolers.Oversee Pinelake’s Our House Promise strategy.Maintain administrative duties, including reports, expense reports, and purchase orders.Oversee equipment use, maintenance, safety, and security.Perform additional duties as assigned.SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
Supervise non-exempt personnel, including Administrative Assistant and paid childcare staff.Coordinate work with servant-leaders and manage personnel responsibilities according to policies and laws, including hiring, performance evaluation, discipline, and payroll.QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
Bachelor’s degree minimum, with two to three years of ministry-related experience and / or training.
