As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal in a retail environment, you will play a key role in helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a secure atmosphere for customers and staff. Your responsibilities will include conducting regular patrols throughout the location, remaining highly visible to help to deter unwanted activity, and responding to any security-related concerns as they arise. This position is both armed and requires driving, so you will be entrusted with upholding strict standards of professionalism and responsibility while operating a vehicle and carrying a firearm. You will also be expected to provide outstanding customer service, communicating clearly and courteously with everyone you encounter. Pay Rate : $22.00 / Hour

Job Schedule : DayTimeWed10 : 00 AM - 10 : 30 PMFri06 : 00 AM - 02 : 15 PM

What You'll Do :

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

  • Provide excellent customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergencies as needed.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
  • Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and / or unauthorized access.
  • Monitor for suspicious behavior and report any security-related concerns or incidents according to established protocols.
  • Communicate clearly with clients, visitors, and employees to provide assistance and information as required.
  • Work collaboratively with Allied Universal team members and local law enforcement as needed to address incidents or emergencies.
  • Complete detailed and accurate reports on all incidents, observations, and activities during shifts.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • Possess a minimum of three years combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience or hold a college degree.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Hold a Level III Armed Certification for Texas if required by the position.
  • Possess a valid driver's license and meet Allied Universal driver policy requirements for driving positions.
  • CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
