Tugboat Captain - Puget Sound

TUGBOAT CAPTAIN – Puget Sound / Harbor

Dunlap Towing Company is looking for a Captain with extensive Puget Sound experience to join our team. This position will be responsible for towing various barges between Puget Sound ports and Canada. Harbor work will include tug / barge assist work in and out of various Puget Sound ports including Bellingham, Anacortes, and Everett as well as barge towing on the Snohomish River. We are looking to hire immediately.

Captain MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

200 Ton, minimum.

Towing Endorsement(Not assistance towing) - REQUIRED

Ability to sail to / from Canada.

Medical Certificate

State Driver’s License.

US Passport.

Permanent residence in Washington or Oregon is highly preferred.

Must be able to read, speak, and understand English.

Experience sailing as Captain in the Puget Sound - 5 years

Experience sailing in the Puget Sound and to ports in Canada.

Pay : $64.77 / hr - minimum of $130,576 / year
