Summary : The Lube Truck Operator is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of mining equipment and other mine related jobs. Lube Truck Operator will be responsible for servicing equipment and systems including end dumps, coal haulers, water trucks, lube trucks, pumps, mechanical systems, and various other mine systems. Lube Truck Operators will be trained on other equipment and systems that will help prepare them for promotions through the maintenance lines of progression.

Bargaining unit position represented by IBEW 2337.

Description & Responsibilities :

• Service equipment as well as some light mechanical duty repairs
• Light troubleshooting such as light wiring, changing small hydraulic lines, changing lights and windshield wipers etc.
• The majority of work will be performed in a physically demanding environment, which includes working outdoors in all types of weather conditions.
• As a mine employee, the incumbent may perform duties in operations, and mechanical maintenance.
• Job assignments will be made based on skills, knowledge, abilities and qualifications.
• All work shall be performed in compliance with Safety Handbook
