What You Will Do

At Eddy Memorial Geriatric Center, our goal is to provide the highest possible quality of life to residents with Alzheimer’s disease and other types of memory loss. We want to be sure that every day is filled with moments that matter — moments of genuine pleasure, moments of genuine purpose and moments of genuine peace.

Responsibilities

Administer nursing care to residents under the direction of a RN

Assist with treatments and procedures and carries out selected duties within the framework of the established nursing plan of care

Assist in the leadership of a team of C.N.A.'s

What You Will Need

Valid NYS LPN license

1+ year of experience as a LPN, but willing to help train the right candidate to further their skills

1+ yr working in a skilled nursing facility

Experience working with patients providing dementia care

Ability to maintain the highest level of customer service while completing day to day duties and responsibilities

Ability to communicate effectively in a fast pace work environment

Ability to engage within a team setting

Passion to learn, grow and develop in the nursing field

Pay Range : $24.00 - $30.10

Pay is based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates. The pay range may also vary within the stated range based on location.
