We are seeking an experienced Document Control Technician II to support a large public-sector construction program at Los Angeles World Airports (LAWA). This role is responsible for processing, distributing, maintaining, and archiving all project-related records using PMWeb and hard-copy systems. The selected candidate may be co-located with the construction management team in a field environment after training.
- Salary Range : $80K / Year-$90K / Year - Dependent on Candidate's Qualifications
Key Responsibilities
Process, scan, index, link, archive, and distribute project documents in PMWeb .Manage internal and external records for ADG, contractors, consultants, and City agencies.Prepare transmittals and distribute documents through PMWeb.Retrieve project records, including correspondence, RFIs, technical submittals, project reports, plans, and specifications.Assist the Project Manager, Construction Manager, and project team on all matters relating to document control.Support workflows, approvals, and documentation organization for project teams.Participate in project meetings as needed.May serve as a lead Document Control Technician or help train new staff.Qualifications & Skills
5–10 years of document control or records management experienceExperience supporting construction projects (large public-sector programs a plus)Strong skills in Microsoft Office and Adobe AcrobatFamiliarity with PMWeb, Documentum, or similar document control systemsHighly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage deadlinesStrong communication skills and a positive, proactive attitudeAbility to lift up to 40 lbs and work in both office and field environmentsTwo-year technical degree preferred; document control certifications a plusWhy Join Greenridge?
