Messy Monkeys is a privately-owned, organic Preschool that leans eclectically into a blend of the Traditional, Reggio Emilia and Montessori styles of learning. Our center is newly expanded, remodeled and rebranded. We offer a nurturing, child-centered environment that fosters independence, creativity and a life-long love of learning. Our dedicated educators act as guides, cultivating a warm, inclusive space where children thrive through discovery and play.

Job Overview

This position reports to the owner and is responsible for consistently delivering an exceptional parent / child experience in the Preschool in order to drive education, operations, and marketing. This position assumes the responsibility of and oversees all operations and education functions of the preschool.

Responsibilities :

• Recruit, hire, train, and develop staff while maintaining a fully staffed, high-performing team.
• Oversee scheduling, HR compliance, licensing requirements, and staff performance management.
• Foster a positive, collaborative workplace that encourages professional growth and high retention.
• Manage budgets, track expenses, and coordinate with vendors to ensure smooth operations.
• Ensure compliance with state licensing regulations and maintain strong relationships with authorities.
• Oversee facility maintenance, safety, and cleanliness standards.
• Communicate priorities clearly, set goals, and hold staff accountable for results.
• Create an exceptional parent and child experience through strong communication and leadership.
• Drive enrollment by conducting tours, responding to inquiries, and promoting the school's programs.
• Ensure curriculum is implemented effectively and monitor classrooms for quality learning outcomes.
• Lead school events, family engagement activities, and community outreach initiatives.
• Stay current with required professional development and ensure staff compliance with training standards.
