Messy Monkeys is a privately-owned, organic Preschool that leans eclectically into a blend of the Traditional, Reggio Emilia and Montessori styles of learning. Our center is newly expanded, remodeled and rebranded. We offer a nurturing, child-centered environment that fosters independence, creativity and a life-long love of learning. Our dedicated educators act as guides, cultivating a warm, inclusive space where children thrive through discovery and play.

Job Overview
This position reports to the owner and is responsible for consistently delivering an exceptional parent / child experience in the Preschool in order to drive education, operations, and marketing. This position assumes the responsibility of and oversees all operations and education functions of the preschool.
Responsibilities :
- Recruit, hire, train, and develop staff while maintaining a fully staffed, high-performing team.
- Oversee scheduling, HR compliance, licensing requirements, and staff performance management.
- Foster a positive, collaborative workplace that encourages professional growth and high retention.
- Manage budgets, track expenses, and coordinate with vendors to ensure smooth operations.
- Ensure compliance with state licensing regulations and maintain strong relationships with authorities.
- Oversee facility maintenance, safety, and cleanliness standards.
- Communicate priorities clearly, set goals, and hold staff accountable for results.
- Create an exceptional parent and child experience through strong communication and leadership.
- Drive enrollment by conducting tours, responding to inquiries, and promoting the school's programs.
- Ensure curriculum is implemented effectively and monitor classrooms for quality learning outcomes.
- Lead school events, family engagement activities, and community outreach initiatives.
- Stay current with required professional development and ensure staff compliance with training standards.
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university and 6+ months of experience in a licensed childcare facility; OR an Associate's Degree in Early Childhood Education or Child Development and 6+ months of licensed childcare experience; OR a CDA (Child Development Associate) credential and 1+ year of licensed childcare experience.Proven leadership experience in a preschool or early childhood education setting.Strong knowledge of child development principles, best practices, and curriculum implementation.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with children, parents, and staff.Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining a focus on quality education and care.Job Type : Full-time
