Human Resources Manager – Dallas – Fort Worth

This position will be based in our Fort Worth Office, near DFW airport and will report to the HR Director. The role will support our locations in Fort Worth and San Antonio. Position Summary :

The Human Resources Manager at Pattison ID in Fort Worth, Tx, plays a pivotal role in enhancing our organizational culture and fostering an environment where team members thrive. With a focus on strategic HR management, this position is responsible for overseeing the development and execution of HR initiatives that align with our business goals and promote employee engagement. The HR Manager will lead a team of HR Generalists and collaborate with hiring managers to address various employee issues, ensuring effective recruitment, performance management, and employee relations. In addition, this role will drive the implementation of innovative HR strategies, manage onboarding processes, and maintain compliance with labor regulations.

Essential Functions : What You’ll Do :

  • Lead and manage HR for Fort Worth, and San Antonio, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management and employee relations.
  • Develop and implement HR policies and program that align with the EX-Strategies and department OKR’s.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive workplace culture through employee engagement initiatives and wellness programs.
  • Manage the performance management process.
  • Audit and update policies as needed
  • Collaborate with the Total Rewards manager on benefits and compensation administration.
  • Address employee relations issues promptly, fairly, and professionally.
  • Exercise sound judgment and discretion.
  • Implement improvements to HR processes and practices to ensure a positive employee experience.
  • Support additional projects and assignments as required.

What You’ll Need to Be Successful :

  • At least 7 years of experience as an HR Manager, with a focus on employee relations, performance management and recruitment in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong leadership experience and a successful history of managing HR Generalists, coordinators, or specialists.
  • Deep understanding of HR best practices, labor laws and regulations
  • Experience managing multiple facilities.
  • Ability to build relationships quickly and effectively with direct reports, hiring managers, and team members.
  • Multistate HR knowledge is strongly preferred.
  • Strong conflict-resolution skills.
  • Experience with HR software and tools, such as HRIS, ATS, and UKG.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects.
  • SHRM-CP or PHR certification is preferred.
  • Collaborative nature with solid communication skills.
  • Strong people skills, active listening abilities, and empathy.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is constantly required to sit and use their hands to operate a telephone, type, and use a computer and mouse. The employee frequently needs to talk, hear, and bend or twist their neck. Occasionally, the employee may need to lift and / or move up to 10 pounds, and rarely lift and / or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required include close vision and distance vision. The ability to travel 10-15% of the time is also required.
