Overview :  We are seeking a seasoned Physiatrist Medical Director to lead our 29-bed PM&R Department in Herrin, IL. This role offers a unique opportunity to utilize both administrative and medical expertise to oversee our inpatient rehab unit and contribute to the development of an outpatient therapy clinic.

Key Responsibilities :

• Supervise Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) :  Provide guidance and oversight to ensure high-quality patient care.
• Physician Leadership :  Take the lead on CMS rules and regulations, ensuring compliance and excellence in patient care.
• Outpatient Physiatry Clinic Development :  Play a pivotal role in building and expanding our outpatient Physiatry clinic.
• Mentorship :  Mentor and support physiatrists, fostering professional growth and development.
• Interdepartmental Relations :  Build strong relationships between nursing and therapy teams to enhance patient outcomes.
• Admissions and Discharge Expertise :  Utilize your expertise to streamline the admissions and discharge processes.
