Sales Intern
Sales Internships are offered in our Sales and Marketing business groups. This role is ideal for individuals who aspire to be a Regional Sales Manager and will shadow top RSMs, support real sales activities, and take on projects that test your hunger, communication, organization, and ability to take on sales as a potential career in the future. Specific projects and responsibilities will be determined based on the business needs at the time of the internship assignment.
Responsibilities may include :
- Sales Development and Market Research for new and emerging market segments
- Sales Support including scheduling and preparing for customer meetings, documenting best practices and process gaps, and suggesting improvements
- Sales Operations and Funnel Management including tracking opportunities, next steps, and forecasts in Salesforce (SFDC) and building dashboards and reports for the broader sales team
- Owning a small sales initiative for the full sales cycle. Tasks including, but not limited to, building a sales rep enablement toolkit, developing the strategy for a new market segment, developing and organizing new sales collateral, and finding a customer to qualify
Qualifications :
Bachelors Degree in Engineering or Science related field preferredPrevious work or exposure to Salesforce (SFDC) a plusProficient in Microsoft Office tools including Word, Excel, and PowerPointExcellent interpersonal and verbal / written communication skillsAbility to compile, analyze, and manage large datasets to support business insightsAttention to detail is a must haveAbility to work in an ambiguous and fast-paced environmentProactive self-starters who take initiative, anticipate needs, and confidently chart their own path without waiting for directionWhat you'll gain :
