ROLE OVERVIEW :

In your role as an Automation Systems Specialist, you'll shoulder the responsibility of diagnosing, fixing, programming, and bringing to life the electrical control systems critical to manufacturing operations. Your expertise will extend to managing plant power systems, facility equipment, and auxiliary setups.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS :

  • Address electrical systems and a variety of control equipment challenges confidently.
  • Proactively address equipment needs based on operational assessments and condition.
  • Collaborate with production teams to resolve machine-related issues effectively.
  • Record precise usage of parts and utilities; manage component inventories meticulously.
  • Design B-O-Ms and engage actively in parts standardization for the facility.
  • Construct and enhance electrical control apparatus as needed; maintain documentation rigorously.
  • Ensure impeccable functionality of test equipment and manage electrical projects.
  • Advance personal technical acumen and train colleagues on emerging control technologies.
  • Participate in broadening technical expertise and ensure regulatory compliance.

QUALIFICATIONS :

  • Three-plus years in electrical or industrial control environments.
  • Proficiency in PLCs, variable speed drives, and HMI interfaces.
  • Strong grasp of temperature regulation methodologies.
  • ADVANTAGEOUS QUALIFICATIONS :

  • A degree in electrical engineering or similar disciplines.
  • Project leadership experience is appreciated.
  • PHYSICAL CONDITIONS :

  • Endurance to stand and engage in various movements over extended durations.
  • Physical ability to manage weight and execute detailed visual tasks.
