Pay: $35.29 - $54.71 / hour. Pay is dependent on applicant's relevant experience

Summary:
As a Registered Nurse in our Acute Care team, you will deliver exceptional patient care while employing your nursing expertise. Our focus is on the well-being and recovery of patients, aligned with UCHealth’s values and mission.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver care in a 24/7 Acute Care environment.
- Effectively plan, implement, and assess patient care to enhance outcomes and utilize resources efficiently.
- Monitor, document, and relay patient conditions to the multidisciplinary care team. Work collaboratively to manage patient transitions including transfers, discharges, and referrals, addressing spiritual and psychosocial needs.
- Assess and educate patients and their families based on their specific needs, culture, and circumstances. Assign appropriate tasks to ancillary staff and mentor new nurses and students.
- Utilize critical thinking and decision-making skills to operate independently in a fast-paced setting and take decisive actions when necessary.
Requirements:
- Graduation from an accredited or state board of nursing approved Registered/Professional Nursing program if you have less than 3 years of experience.
- Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
- A minimum of 6 months of nursing (RN) experience.
- BLS certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer, with a valid card to be presented before start date (must be valid for at least 60 days post-hire).
