Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care, assist physicians with clinical procedures, and ensure smooth day-to-day operations within the practice. This role requires professionalism, excellent communication, and a patient-centered approach.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain a positive and professional image by treating all patients with courtesy and respect.
  • Assist physicians with basic office medical procedures to ensure coordinated and efficient patient care.
  • Perform patient and family education, counseling, and teaching as directed.
  • Escort patients to exam rooms, obtain medical history and vital signs, and prepare them for examinations.
  • Manage clerical duties including scheduling, referrals, form completion, and phone communication.
  • Support physicians during exams and minor procedures.
  • Maintain and stock exam rooms, clean instruments, and operate autoclaves as needed.
  • Assist with onboarding and training of new staff in clinical procedures.
  • Administer injections and follow all safety and documentation protocols.
  • Participate in staff meetings and training sessions.
  • Assume leadership responsibilities when required in the absence of supervisory staff.
  • Perform additional duties and projects as assigned.

    • Qualifications

  • Minimum Experience : 2+ years of Medical Assistant and receptionist experience.
  • Certification : Must be a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) .
  • Experience : Pediatric experience required.
  • Skills : Must be comfortable with phone communication, patient greetings, scheduling, mailing, and maintaining a clean work environment.
  • Education : High school diploma required.
