Addison Group is seeking an experienced HR Generalist on behalf of our client, a prominent sporting goods organization that has supported independent retail stores across North America since 1956. This role will help sustain a collaborative work environment as the organization continues to grow and transition.

Job Description :

The HR Generalist will oversee all HR-related functions, including payroll, benefits administration, compliance, and employee relations. This position is ideal for an HR professional with strong organizational skills who can handle a variety of responsibilities in a supportive, family-like environment.

Key Responsibilities :

• Employee Management : Administer payroll through ADP and facilitate the onboarding process for new hires.
• Employee Relations : Serve as a link between management and employees to support effective communication.
• Benefits Administration : Manage and administer employee benefits, including insurance, retirement plans, and leave policies.
• Compliance : Ensure compliance with all labor laws and industry regulations; handle census reporting and payroll audits.
• Personnel Records : Maintain up-to-date employee records and documentation.
• Recruitment : Manage job postings, participate in interviews, and facilitate offer letters and pre-employment screenings.

Qualifications :

OR 2-3 years of HR Manager experience
