Ammonia Refrigeration Technician - 1st and 2nd Shift (Direct Hire)

Pay Rate : $36-$45 / hr (Depends on Experience)

Seeking highly skilled and safety-focused Ammonia Refrigeration Technicians to maintain, repair, and optimize its Anhydrous Ammonia Refrigeration System. This critical role requires expertise in advanced diagnostics, complex overhauls, and strict adherence to all PSM / RMP and regulatory standards.

Core Responsibilities :

• seeking a highly skilled and safety-focused Ammonia Refrigeration Technician to maintain, repair, and optimize our Anhydrous Ammonia Refrigeration System. This critical role requires expertise in advanced diagnostics and strict adherence to all PSM / RMP standards.
• Advanced Diagnostics & Overhauls : Execute complex repairs and major system overhauls, utilizing expert knowledge to troubleshoot root causes in electrical, mechanical, and PLC control systems across the entire ammonia process.
• Safety and Regulatory Compliance : Ensure all work, including component installation, charging, and line breaking, strictly adheres to PSM / RMP policies and RETA / IIAR codes; maintain all required documentation.
• Emergency Response & Physical Readiness : Act as a core member of the Emergency Response Team (ERT), Emergency Response : Serve on the Emergency Response Team (ERT), requiring annual fit-for-duty clearance to use SCBA / APR Hazmat equipment.
• Experience : Possess a minimum of two (2-3) years of verifiable Industrial Ammonia Refrigeration experience.
• Certifications : Must hold RETA CIRO certification, RETA Level II training, and current Hazmat Technician Level certification.
