Position

Become an Associate Mapping Specialist at Medtronic, with a training pathway into the EP Mapping Specialist role. You'll provide technical, clinical and sales support, in collaboration with the sales team, within the region or assigned territory in support of the launch and adoption of the EP mapping and navigation system (Affera) and all products within the Cardiac Ablation Solutions (CAS) business.

Cardiac Ablation Solutions offers cardiac mapping and ablation solutions to treat patients with abnormal heart rhythms. Our vision is to help patients worldwide by advancing innovation for the diagnosis and ablation of cardiac arrhythmias, enabling clinicians to perform procedures with superior outcomes.

CAS seeks collaborative candidates who are patient-centric, passionate, and who represent the same wide variety of life experiences as our patients. We are seeking a committed professional to join our team, required to reside within the territory and drive to multiple accounts throughout the region. A valid driver\'s license is essential for this role, which also involves 25% travel outside the territory, presenting opportunities for broader engagement.

Responsibilities

  • Provide clinical and technical support and training to physicians and staff on the EP mapping and navigation system and all CAS products.
  • Educate and train physicians, hospital personnel and office staff on technical matters relating to CAS products and related procedures.
  • Promote the safe and effective use of Medtronic CAS products and related procedures.
  • Understand and support national, regional and territory sales objectives to achieve or exceed sales goals within all CAS products.
  • Develop and cultivate customer relationships resulting in incremental business.
  • Work in partnership with Account Manager, Regional Manager and Area Directors to identify potential sales opportunities.
  • Collaborate with local sales team to conduct customer training for mapping and other CAS solutions products.
  • Collaborate and communicate with the sales and clinical teams in the region.
  • Serve as an effective Medtronic CAS representative to physicians and support staff regarding Medtronic CAS products, service and support.
  • Serve as a regional champion to share your experience and influence others to be proficient in the mapping technology.

Qualifications

  • Required Qualifications — To be considered for this role, the minimum requirements should be evident on your resume.
  • Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering or related field by December 2025 or June 2026.
  • Ability to work in the US without the need for current or future visa sponsorship.
  • Preferred Qualifications
  • Graduation from Cardiac Prep program such as ATI and PrepMD.
  • Proven track record with technical training assignments.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Experience in the cardiac catheter ablation field, EP lab, in a hospital / clinic or EP medical sales providing technical and clinical support.

  • Physical demands include exposure to infectious disease and radiation; specialists may be required to travel outside territory and overnight on occasion; must be able to move freely within facilities and stand / walk for extended periods.
  • Must be able to drive approximately 25-50% of the time within assigned territory and may require overnight travel.
  • Benefits & Compensation

    Medtronic offers a competitive salary and flexible benefits package. Salary ranges for U.S. locations : 75,000–85,000 USD. The base salary range is applicable across the United States (excluding Puerto Rico and some California locations) and may vary based on experience, education, and location. Benefits include health, dental and vision insurance, 401(k) with employer match, disability leave, paid time off, holidays, and more.
