Indutrial Maintenance Technician

Overview

We are seeking an experienced Industrial Maintenance Technician to join our team in Chattanooga, TN. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the smooth operation of our facility's machinery and equipment. Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on industrial machinery and equipment.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems to identify issues.
• Work on conveyor systems, natural gas burners and printing presses.
• Conduct inspections and preventative maintenance to ensure optimal performance.
• Document maintenance activities and maintain accurate records of repairs.
• Work on converyors, motors, gear boxes, vision systems and gas burners.
• Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in a related field is a plus.

At least 3 years of proven experience as an industrial maintenance technician or similar role.

Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.

Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Experience working independently.

Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
