About the Role (Packaging Supervisor) :
The Packaging Supervisor is responsible for assisting the Packaging Manager to execute the day-to-day preparation, packaging and finished product handling processes effectively, efficiently and compliantly - at the Middlefield facility. The successful candidate will be an effective leader, who possesses strong interpersonal skills, attention to detail and organizational skills. This position reports to the Packaging Manager.

How youll make a difference (required duties and responsibilities) :
Responsible for day-to-day, SOP based packaging and labeling processes to enable delivering high quality finished goods based on monthly unit goals and KPIs. Specifically, collaborates with the Packaging Manager to execute a schedule of tasks, which are essential to achieve the daily, weekly and monthly required output of quality packaged products
Consistently and accurately packages and labels production output; ensuring compliance with state regulations and company policies.
Assists in the training and development of Packaging technicians to foster an environment of continuous learning and development
Maintains inventory records and batch sheets for all relevant processing and cannabis products.
Performs digital inventory movements and tracking within required seed-to-sale platforms to ensure accurate traceability.
Proactively identifies areas of improvement to enable greater efficiencies thoughout the packaging process.
Supervises storage of supplies and equipment according to state regs and SOPs.
Drives and verifies quality control standards are being consistently met from end-to-end process-wise.
Maintains a clean, compliant and safe work environment; responsible for reporting any potential compliance or safety concerns promptly.
Compliantly disposes of waste, in accordance with SOPs.
Assists with other tasks as assigned by the Packaging Manager and / or Senior Production Manager
