Base pay range : $230,000.00 / yr - $325,000.00 / yr

The Role

We are seeking a results-oriented Sr. Director of Product to lead the product strategy and execution for our Core product. You will be responsible for defining the product vision, roadmap and delivery, ensuring market fit and driving business growth. You will be a critical member of our product organization, managing a team of product managers, and serving as a key partner to engineering, design, and our commercial teams.

What You’ll Do

  • Vision & Strategy : Define and execute a compelling product strategy for our Core product that aligns with Addepar's overall mission and growth strategy
  • Own the Product Lifecycle : Manage product iterations from concept through to a scaled solution, focusing on achieving product-market fit through an agile approach to product delivery
  • Drive Product Excellence : Establish and refine scalable processes for product planning, roadmapping, and metrics-driven execution within your team
  • Innovation : Foster a culture of continuous innovation by driving ideation from initial concept through MVP and onto scalable solutions
  • Center on the Client : Embed client research and validation into the product development lifecycle to ensure solutions deliver measurable value
  • Partner Across Functions : Work closely with Engineering, Design, and Data teams to deliver platform-centric and highly integrated solutions. Partner with our commercial and services teams to launch and commercialize new capabilities
  • Develop Talent : Mentor and develop high-performing product managers, and foster a product culture of accountability, clarity, and ownership
  • Ensure Market Fit : Stay ahead of industry trends in wealth, asset, and investment management and evolve our product direction accordingly

Who You Are

  • Strategic thinker with a proven ability to define and communicate a clear product direction
  • Grounded in customer-centric development, integrating user research and validation into product decisions
  • Deeply fluent in financial systems, with experience in portfolio management, investor workflows, or trading systems. Experience in enterprise fintech, B2B2C platforms, or advisor tools is a plus
  • Skilled at technical collaboration, comfortable working with engineering and data teams on platform and infrastructure investments
  • Experienced in go-to-market alignment, partnering closely with commercial teams to launch and scale products successfully
  • A strong people leader with a track record of mentoring talent, creating clarity, and building an empowered, collaborative culture
  • Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in product management, with at least 3 years in a leadership role
  • Experience in fintech, ideally in domains like investment platforms, advisor tools, or institutional software
  • Demonstrated success operating at scale in a high-growth or enterprise environment
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to connect product execution to business performance
