This position involves TIG welding primarily on aluminum using a TIG welder machine equipped with a foot pedal. The primary task is fusing the corners of pizza pans with four welds at a 90-degree angle. The role will initially focus on tacking and progress to more complex tasks, with a primary focus on creating pizza pans and potentially manufacturing pizza cutters and other products used by commercial pizza chains. Additionally, there may be some MIG welding on stainless steel to weld racks.

Responsibilities :

Perform TIG welding on aluminum with precision and attention to detail.

Fuse corners of pizza pans with four welds at a 90-degree angle.

Start with tacking and progress to more complex welding tasks.

Manufacture pizza pans, pizza cutters, and other related products.

Potentially engage in MIG welding on stainless steel racks.

Read and interpret blueprints accurately.

Meet production targets, starting with 25 pans and growing to an expectation of 400 pans per day.

Essential Skills :

Basic welding experience, particularly in TIG welding.

Ability to read and interpret blueprints.

Attention to detail and precision in manufacturing and fabrication.

Additional Skills & Qualifications :

Willingness to cross-train into different departments as needed.

Strong attendance and positive attitude.

Capability to achieve high production rates after training.

Job Type & Location :

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Spokane Valley, WA.

Pay and Benefits :

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $20.50 / hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
