Shift : Days, 3 x 12s (7 : 00 AM – 7 : 00 PM), 36 hours / week

Weekend / Holiday Requirements : As needed

On Call : None

Unit Overview :

Dual level of care unit : Telemetry + PCU

Primary Stroke Center

Unit Size : 25 beds (9 PCU)

Patient Ratios : 1 : 5–6 on floor side; 1 : 3 for PCU

Common Cases :

Chest pain, strokes, respiratory failure, sepsis

Qualifications :

Minimum 2 years PCU experience

Minimum 2 years telemetry experience

Previous travel experience preferred

Charge experience preferred

EPIC experience required

Certifications : NIHSS, ACLS, BLS

Duties :

Provide direct patient care across dual-level unit

Perform nursing assessments and interventions for PCU and telemetry patients

Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to deliver safe, high-quality care

Respond to acute changes in patient condition, including stroke and critical care situations
