Job Summary :

The K-8 School Counselor will provide support to students and families for social, emotional, and academic learning needs.

A Day in the Life of the High School School Counselor :

• Create and co-lead the student support team / MTSS.
• Meet with administration team to review referrals and interventions.
• Drive, co-lead and support implementation of tier 1 program; support teachers and offer PD and training when needed. Ensure connection with tier 2 / 3 interventions.
• Create singular or multiple cross-grade tier 2 groups.
• Maintain awareness of student diagnoses, develop and update plans for tier 3 students, and share with staff as needed.
• Connect with and support parents as needed, providing referrals to PSC team.
• Provide and encourage outside referrals for students as needed.
• Career and College guidance

Duration : School year Position Type : Part Time

Hours :  32 hours per week Monday - Friday

Salary Range : $35-$48 per hour based on experience & qualifications.
