English Ministry Pastor

Lighthouse is the English-speaking congregation (EM) of New Community Mission Church. We are a Southern Baptist Korean-American church established in 2001 and located in San Mateo, CA. Our congregation consists of youth students, college students, young adults, and families. The church follows the House Church model (https : / / housechurch.global / ) and is looking for a pastor to lead the English ministry who can whole-heartedly follow this model and is willing to learn this model of ministry.

Qualifications

• Currently attending or graduated from an accredited theological institution with at least a Master of Divinity
• Have experience in full-time pastoral ministry
• Be above reproach and display Christ-like character (Titus 1 : 6-9; 1 Tim. 3 : 2-7)
• Must abide by the Baptist Faith & Message 2000 (https : / / bfm.sbc.net / bfm2000)
• Have strong organizational and administrative skills as well as interpersonal skills
• Must be fluent in English (fluency in Korean will be a plus)
• Must be legally qualified to work in the United States
