Job Description Summary

We are seeking a proactive and experienced Product Owner to join our Software Technology Solutions (STS) R&D team based in San Diego or remotely with occasional travel. In this key role, you will be responsible for driving and leading the product vision, strategy and roadmap for our software development platform. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, aligning features with measurable outcomes that bring value to our customers. Additionally, you will collaborate with various teams to understand clinical, legal, regulatory, and customer support requirements, ensuring product readiness and implementing a plan for regular releases.

Role : Product Owner

The Product Owner for BD's cloud connectivity platform will play a valuable role for the Engineering organization. Primary responsibilities include : 1) collaborating with partners to understand customer and market requirements; 2) managing and prioritizing the product backlog; 3) developing detailed requirements, stories, and tasks. You will define and document feature requirements, test and validate new releases with beta customers, triage and remediate issues, and coordinate activities across the release train with the Product Manager.

Key Responsibilities

• Product Vision & Leadership : Provide vision and direction to the scrum team throughout the product lifecycle.
• Requirements Definition & Analysis : Develop crisp product and feature scope documents to drive product specifications and architecture.
• Backlog Management : Prioritize the product backlog to align with the product vision and business value.
• Stakeholder Communication : Inform clients and collaborators on product status and lead release plans.
• Project Management & Dependency Oversight : Mitigate impediments, manage change, and coordinate dependencies to achieve Release / Sprint Goals.

Salary Range

Salary range information : $80,600.00 - $133,000.00 USD annually. Salary may vary by location and other factors.
