Receiving & Shipping Clerk | Utilimaster | Kansas City, MO

Regular Employee | Hourly Non-Exempt | $23.00 - 25.00

What you'll do : The

Shipping & Receiving Clerk position is responsible for various types

of inbound / outbound shipment, receiving and warehousing activities in

accordance with established procedures. The person prepares shipping and

receiving documentation, receives, distributes, and stocks incoming materials

and is frequently required to lift and move a minimum of 40 pounds without

assistance, climb a ladder to a height of at least 20 feet, acquire equipment

license and wear appropriate safety equipment.

What you need to be successful :

• HS Diploma or GED required.
• 1-2 years related experience or equivalent.
• Familiarity with warehouse and distribution practices.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Commitment to a high standard of excellence.
• Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
• Attention to detail.
• Familiarity with outlook, word and excel.
• Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions.
