NSK Liberty is seeking a Second Shift T echnician or Technical Specialist with knowledge, skills, and abilities that will serve to carry out the company objectives and the following responsibilities.
WORKING AS A TECHNICIAN OR TECHNICAL SPECIALIST FOR NSK -
- Repair and maintain electrical and mechanical systems throughout manufacturing plant. Perform preventative maintenance activities on equipment and facilities.
- Learn machine troubleshooting techniques both electrical and mechanical.
- Ability to apply and demonstrate electrical theory and related knowledge to test and modify developmental or operational electrical machinery electrical control equipment and circuitry.
- Uses machine troubleshooting techniques / knowledge to repair minor machine conditions under supervision.
- Learns central systems, their functions and how they integrate with operations.
- Monitors and tests equipment to identify and diagnose and repair malfunctions, using test equipment or software, and applying knowledge of the functional operation of central systems.
- Repairs and rebuild mechanical and electrical components of manufacturing equipment.
- Reads and understands mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic prints. Identifies parts / components of hydraulic and pneumatic systems and can explain functions of components.
- Maintains neat, organized routing of wiring and follows standards of good workmanship when routing wiring and mounting components.
- Able to pull prints, identify and request components.
- Installs, maintains, and repairs electromechanical, electrical, and electronic components of machinery and equipment.
- Ensures operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements on engines, motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, and production machines; following diagrams, sketches, operations manuals, manufacturer's instructions, and engineering specifications; troubleshooting malfunctions.
- Work in a safe, responsible manner complying with all Safety and Lockout / Tagout Procedures.
Experience / Requirements
Required :
Must be eligible to work in the United States.Must be 18 years or older.High School Diploma or equivalent.Preferred :
One to three years experience with troubleshooting, set-up, change-over, maintenance, or repair of CNC equipment and robotics.
