As a Quality Co-Op, you'll play a vital part in preventing defects before they occur, analyzing data to improve performance, and supporting both internal and supply chain quality initiatives. This position offers a unique opportunity to develop your skills in quality engineering while making a tangible impact on our production processes. Immerse yourself in a full-time, Monday-Friday co-op session, that will run January-August (including the Spring semester; it is expected students will take a semester off from coursework to fully engage with this working mentorship opportunity).

What You Will Do :

• Learn about the application, development, modification, and maintenance of quality evaluation, control systems, and protocols for materials processed into partially finished or finished products.
• Collaborate with product design and specification teams to devise testing plans, methods, and equipment that ensure product reliability.
• Identify and manage risk in product development by utilizing and driving UPPAP core elements (e.g., PFMEA, MSA, Process Flow, and Control Plans).
• Participate in the development and implementation of proactive quality initiative strategies.
• Gain knowledge in performing Escape management procedures, conducting root cause analysis, and recommending corrective actions for design problems. Ensure all requirements are met for work transfer and process change management, including Resourcing Gate and Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) acceptance.

The salary range for this role is 37,000 USD - 82,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education / training, and key skills.
