Job description

Location : New York, NY (100% On-site)

Compensation : $150,000 - $200,000 (Base Salary) + Competitive Equity

We are a rapidly growing, well-funded technology company operating at the intersection of AI, data, and life sciences . Our mission is to accelerate the path for patients to receive life-changing therapies by simplifying insurance, affordability, and pharmacy supply chain complexities. We are seeking a high-impact Analytics Engineer to build the data foundation that powers how we operate, measure, and grow.

As an Analytics Engineer, you'll be an owner of our data infrastructure, ensuring that clean, trustworthy, and decision-grade data is available across the company. This is a highly autonomous, cross-functional role that directly impacts company growth and client success.

If you join, you will :

  • Data Modeling : Build and maintain the core data models that serve as the foundation for both internal analytics and client-facing insights.
  • Pipeline Design : Design and operate the data pipelines that transform raw data sources into clean, analytics-ready tables.
  • Reporting Infrastructure : Create dashboards and reporting tools that drive performance visibility and decision-making across Product, Operations, and Go-To-Market (GTM) teams.
  • Metric Consistency : Define and enforce metric consistency across teams, including core business KPIs and product usage definitions.
  • Stack Scaling : Help improve and scale our analytics stack (which includes GCP BigQuery, Dataform, Fivetran, and Postgres ).
  • Collaboration : Work closely with cross-functional stakeholders (product, ops, growth, and leadership) to understand data needs and translate them into reliable systems.
  • Data Culture : Contribute to internal data culture through documentation, education, and code quality standards, helping to define our analytics engineering best practices.

Requirements

  • Experience : 2 to 6 years of experience in analytics engineering, data engineering , or a technical data analyst role with production ownership.
  • Core Skills : Expert proficiency in SQL .
  • Modeling Tools : Experience with modern data transformation tools (e.g., dbt, Dataform ).
  • Pipeline Tools : Experience designing and operating robust data pipelines (familiarity with Fivetran or similar ETL tools is a plus).
  • Data Warehouse : Experience working with modern cloud data warehouses (e.g., GCP BigQuery ).
  • Mindset : Low-ego, hungry to learn, and able to "act like an owner," committing yourself to intense, impactful work.
  • Collaboration : Strong ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Preferred Qualifications :

  • Familiarity with Python for data scripting.
  • Experience with dashboarding tools (e.g., Metabase).
  • Experience in the Healthcare or Life Sciences industries.
