Position Overview

Lumentum is seeking a visionary and execution-oriented Head AI Strategy to lead the company’s AI transformation journey. This role will be pivotal in shaping and executing a focused, enterprise-wide AI strategy aligned with business priorities and value realization. The ideal candidate brings deep expertise in artificial intelligence and machine learning (AI / ML), especially in Convolutional Neural Networks (CNNs) , coupled with proven experience in driving cross-functional AI adoption in complex, global environments.

Strategic Responsibilities

• Enterprise AI Strategy : Define and implement an enterprise-wide AI roadmap focused on efficiency, innovation, and decision-making quality.
• Value-Driven Adoption : Lead AI initiatives using Lumentum’s use case prioritization framework with measurable benefits in financial impact, customer experience, and risk reduction.
• Organizational Leadership : Establish and grow the AI Center of Excellence and cross‑functional teams to foster scalable and repeatable AI innovation.
• Governance & Investment : Develop AI investment frameworks, governance models, and risk management policies consistent with a $5M+ multi-year roadmap.

P95-USA-1 : $187,450.00 - $267,750.00
