An exciting opportunity for a Pharmacy Technician is now available. As a member of our dedicated Retail Pharmacy team, you will be responsible for assisting Pharmacists in preparing and distributing medication, maintaining the drug inventory, and maintaining patient records.

Qualifications

Required Skills:

• Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
• Demonstrates proficiency in verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to interact effectively and professionally with individuals at all levels; both internal and external

Position Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent required
Pharmacy Technician (PTCB) license in the state of Michigan
OR required to earn permanent Michigan Pharmacy Technician license within 1 year
On the job training and education to help with license requirement available
PTCB Exam date must be determined and scheduled within 6 months of hire date
Annual influenza vaccination or declination required
