About The Position

Job Title : Registered Nurse (RN)

Shift : 7 : 00 PM - 7 : 00 AM

Hours per Shift : 12 hours

Experience : Minimum of 2 years of Med / Surg Tele experience; at least 1 travel contract completed

License : State License required

Certifications : BLS (AHA)

Must-Have :

• Work history / resume
• Skills checklist (must have been completed within the last year)
• License verification
• Copy of required certifications
• One supervisory reference
• Proof of taxable address

Description :

This position offers same-day interviews.

Please prepare qualified candidates for a call from a 405 area code.

As a member of the interdisciplinary team, the traveler contributes professional and clinical knowledge and skills in the provision and management of care to patients.

The traveler may be asked to float within the same discipline across local campuses.

The traveler must be more than 50 miles from the market.

Patient ratio is 1 : 6.

Drips administered include Heparin and Insulin.

Winter holidays are required to work 2 of 3 (Christmas, New Year's, or Thanksgiving).

Limit of 1 day request off between specified holiday periods for all travelers regardless of holidays worked.

References are required prior to submission.

A document is needed to verify the bill rate in accordance with local traveler policy.

Skills in managing patient care and knowledge of telemetry are essential.

This role requires a commitment to teamwork and patient-centered care.

The traveler must have a strong understanding of Med / Surg Tele nursing practices.
