Senior Associate - Advisory & Family Office Services
Business Valuation
- Schedule and analyze company financials, identify trends, adjustments, and comparisons to industry benchmarks.
- Research industry trends and market comparable transactions.
- Develop and communicate questions to management to better understand the business.
- Identify areas for improvement and work with stakeholders to develop simple action plans to increase value.
- Leverage AI, internally developed processes, and existing assessment models to create a simplified framework for business owners to understand and remain accountable.
Transaction Advisory
Prepare quality of earnings analyses, which may include audit-like procedures and detailed reviews of various aspects of a business for sell-side or buy-side purposes.Identify, schedule, or validate add-back adjustments with appropriate support and rationale.Manage and organize large amounts of data, and communicate findings to appropriate parties.Prepare presentations and schedules to clearly communicate results.Family Office Suite of Services
Aggregate and organize accounting, investment, and financial information across multiple businesses, investments, and personal use, preparing summarized and relevant reports for family stakeholders on total wealth, cash flow, and liquidity.Perform diligence on investment opportunities and summarize findings for family stakeholders.Oversee, manage, and report on performance of private investments (real estate, LP funds, private equity positions, etc.).Oversee treasury functions for family stakeholders.Provide proactive tax planning and coordinate with outside advisors for individual, business, and estate tax needs.Act as liaison between outside professionals to improve alignment on legal, banking, insurance, wealth management, and other issues.Assist with special projects in finance and accounting.About You
You have public or industry experience and are looking to serve clients in new and exciting ways.You bring senior-level experience (3-5 years) in one or more of the following areas and are eager to grow in the rest :Corporate tax compliance and planning
High net worth tax and advisoryEstate and gift taxAudit and assurance servicesBusiness valuationFinancial planning and analysis (FP&A)Transaction diligence for sell-side and / or buy-side businessesFamily office or multi-family office servicesCorporate controller / assistant controller rolesIndustry experience in "hard infrastructure" sectors such as construction, industrial, manufacturing, transportation, or logisticsYou hold a bachelor's degree or higher; CPA certification is preferred, and a CPA pathway is available.You are immersed in Louisiana culture and have a genuine love for the community.
