Description

Accord Carton is looking for a detail-oriented Finishing Operator to join our technical manufacturing team! In this role, you will play a crucial role in the final stages of our paperboard manufacturing process. You will be responsible for operating finishing equipment to produce high-quality, finished products. We are seeking to hire for our growing third shift team (9pm - 5am).

Requirements

What You'll Do :

  • Run machines that fold, glue, and add windows to packaging.
  • Set up the machines and make adjustments as needed to keep things running smoothly.
  • Watch over the machines to make sure everything is working right and products look good.
  • Check finished packages to make sure they meet our quality standards.
  • Fix minor problems with the machines if they come up.
  • Follow all safety rules to keep yourself and others safe.
  • Work together with your team to keep production moving.

What We're Looking For :

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Experience working in a technical manufacturing environment; especially with packaging, folding, or gluing machines.
  • Good with your hands and able to solve basic mechanical problems.
  • Able to work well on your own and with others.
  • Good hand-eye coordination.
  • Comfortable working in a busy, fast-paced environment.
  • Physically able to stand for long periods and lift items as needed.
  • Willing to work overnight (third shift).
