Position Summary:

Requirements

  • Active CPA license and substantial public accounting tax experience are essential
  • Must be able to work on site in Fishers, IN during peak season

  • Lead the preparation and review of corporate, trust, and individual tax returns
  • Manage tax department workflow, deadlines, and staff assignments for in-office and remote team members
  • Supervise quarterly filings, year-end planning, and compliance cycles for various client entities
  • Mentor, train, and oversee tax staff while promoting a culture of quality and responsibility
  • Drive technological enhancements and process upgrades in the tax department
  • Collaborate with firm leadership on strategic growth ventures and service offerings
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations
  • Maintain high standards of responsiveness and client service for business and high-net-worth clients

Qualifications

  • Active CPA license
  • 5+ years of public accounting experience with significant corporate and trust/individual tax exposure
  • Demonstrated proficiency in reviewing complex returns and managing engagements
  • Comfortable in leading a tax team and enhancing processes and systems
  • Proficient in common tax and accounting platforms (e.g., UltraTax, QuickBooks or similar)
  • Based in or open to relocating to the Indianapolis metro area
