Work location :
- Weekend work hours will be performed at the Company office at N. Cave Creek Rd. Phoenix, AZ 85024.
- Weekend work hours may be worked virtually based on tenure in the position and job performance.
- Weekend call hours must be performed at a private location such as the Weekend Schedulers place of residence.
Schedule :
- Weekend Scheduler will be available from 5pm on Friday to 9am on Monday.
- Weekend Work hours : 9am to 5pm on Saturday and Sunday
- Weekend On Call hours : all weekend hours outside of weekend work hours
Job Description :
The Weekend Scheduler position is focused on managing the calendar of client visits. As part of the care management team, the Weekend Scheduler will work closely with the weekday Care Coordinators to ensure seamless care throughout the weekend. We make a promise to our clients and their families to always provide the care that has been scheduled. The Weekend Scheduler is an important part of delivering on the promise.
Responsibilities :
- Monitoring the Schedule : Monitor the client visit schedule to ensure that caregivers are showing up to visits and are clocking in and out on time.
- Addressing Issues : Contact caregivers and clients when there is an issue with a visit such as a callout, late clock in, or clock out. Arrange for substitute coverage as necessary.
- Filling Open Visits : Match appropriate caregivers to clients based on required skill set, caregiver availability, personality traits, and client attributes.
- On Call : Work weekend on call hours
- Point of Contact : Triage and respond to incoming phone calls, text messages, AxisCare messages, emails, and voicemails.
- Performing Visit Verifications : Review completed visits to ensure that visit details are correct and caregiver has completed care notes and signature
- Setting Assessment Appointments. Provide information about services to prospective clients and set an assessment appointment.
- Working on Projects : Assist with administrative projects as assigned
REQUIRED Skills / Qualifications :
- Proven ability to provide great customer service
- Quick learner with strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Reliable and self-motivated
- Able to work well under pressure
- Access to high speed internet at home
PREFERRED Skills / Qualifications :
- Previous scheduling / staffing experience in home care or other healthcare related field
- Experience with home care scheduling software, such as AxisCare
- Proficiency in basic computer software programs (for example : email, calendars, printing, and scanning)
