Field Operations Manager – X-Ray Deployment Project

Location: Remote

Work Type: Full-Time

Contract Length: 3-6 months

Team Oversight: Apex Field Staff

Pay: $48-55/hr

Role Overview

• We are seeking an Operations Manager to oversee multi-site deployment efforts for compact x-ray systems at airport cargo facilities across the
• This role is responsible for managing the master deployment schedule, coordinating field operations, and ensuring successful execution of ~250 unit installations with minimal disruption to airport operations.
• The Operations Manager serves as the primary leader for Apex field staff and the senior escalation point for onsite challenges.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and manage the Master Deployment Plan & Schedule with Client PMO
• Lead multi-site field operations to ensure timely deployment of ~250 X-Ray units
• Serve as primary people leader for Apex field staff: tracking training, timekeeping, and safety compliance
• Oversee daily site readiness: staging of pre-shipped equipment, airport access coordination, workspace prep, and clean-up
• Track and report operational KPIs: productivity, escalation response, acceptance-test success rates, safety incidents, and cost adherence
• Act as senior escalation point for technical and logistical challenges; collaborate with Engagement Manager for resolution
