Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available in Fort Wayne, IN, serving K-12 students within a public school setting. This contract position for the upcoming school year offers 37.5 hours per week and provides a collaborative environment with multiple SLP colleagues and dedicated instructional assistants.
Key Responsibilities :
- Deliver speech and language therapy services to approximately 56 elementary students following a 3 : 1 service delivery model (three weeks providing direct therapy, one week allocated for indirect tasks).
- Complete required service logs for Medicaid compliance.
- Participate in weekly and monthly meetings coordinated by licensed SLP instructional assistants who support IEP processes, including Indiana IEP software training and IEP meeting coordination.
- Collaborate effectively with other SLPs and school staff to support student communication goals.
- Manage a caseload in alignment with school district procedures without RTI involvement.
Desired Qualifications :
Valid Indiana teaching certificate and licensed Speech-Language Pathologist credential.Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred.Experience or interest in pediatrics and school-based therapy.Clinical Fellows are encouraged to apply and will receive structured support and mentorship.Familiarity with Indianas IEP software and educational processes is an advantage.Additional Details :
