The Professional Registered Nurse will practice at the height of their scope to provide direct care for patients and families undergoing noninvasive cardiac testing and invasive cardiovascular procedures. Care provided will include pre-procedural / appointment screening, procedural prep and recovery, and all aspects of the intra-procedural period. The Professional Registered Nurse will maintain a strong working knowledge of the physiological processes of the cardiovascular system and procedures performed in the department. Responsibilities will include patient assessment, education, and monitoring hemodynamic data. Additional responsibilities include the ability to prioritize interventions and effectively participate as a member of a multidisciplinary team. Candidates should possess a willingness to learn, a desire to focus on the details, and the ability to succeed in a fast paced, dynamic environment.
