Staff Accountant - Corporate

The Staff Accountant I is an entry level accounting position, responsible for the accounting and financial functions of assigned facilities. Duties include preparation of journal entries, account review and trend analysis, balance sheet reconciliations, and active participation in the external audit process. This position will also have the opportunity to participate in various special projects as business needs arise.

Roles and responsibilities :

• Prepares month end journal entries timely with adequate support for each transaction
• Prepares and reviews balance sheet reconciliations for assigned entities
• Assists in preparation of financial statements in accordance with established monthly deadlines
• Reviews and reconciles monthly bank and credit card activity
• Provides monthly, quarterly, and year-end analyses with a focus on trends and financial accuracy
• Assists with external audit and tax preparation
