RN - IMC

Our Client, a Healthcare company, is looking for a RN – IMC for their Salisbury, MD location.

Responsibilities :

• The IMC RN is responsible for managing high acuity patients who are often too critical for a medical / surgical floor but may not require an ICU level of care.
• The IMC team is skilled in caring for populations such as sepsis, diabetic ketoacidosis, post open-heart procedures, continuous cardiac infusions, and those requiring acute continuous non-invasive ventilation (i.e. BiPAP / CPAP).
• These patients require continuous cardiac and respiratory monitoring and the IMC RN will be prepared to intervene quickly to any changes in hemodynamics or respiratory demands.
• The IMC RN is responsible for developing, implementing, and evaluating an individualized plan of care for their patients while serving as an advocate and educator to patients and their families.
• The Intermediate Care unit (IMC) is a fast-paced, teamwork driven environment providing high acuity care to critically ill patients.
