Job description

ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg for a travel nursing job in Chattanooga, Tennessee.

RN Position Job Notes :

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Opportunity : RN - Med Surg

Job Details :

  • Work on 4east medical-surgical unit with 30 beds
  • Patient ratio of 1 : 6
  • Required to work 4 weekend shifts per 28-day schedule
  • Fall into holiday rotation
  • Floating policy - fall into rotation with other staff
  • Use Meditech documentation system
  • Work with equipment including walkers, IV pumps, SCDs, and other standard medical equipment
  • Support team includes Clinical Coordinators, Unit Secretary, PCTs, and Case Management
  • Medical-surgical experience required including respiratory diseases / illnesses, renal disease, GI illnesses / diseases, telemetry, CVCs, indwelling catheters, heparin drips
  • Must demonstrate teamwork, compassion, collaboration and communication skills
  • BLS certification required
  • RN license required
  • Navy blue scrubs required
  • Patient experience requirements include maintaining 72% satisfaction utilizing communication boards
