About The Position

Job Title : Registered Nurse

Hours per Shift : 12 hours

Experience : Minimum of 2 years in the Emergency Department required.

License : Active nursing license required.

Certifications : ACLS, BLS, NIH required. CPI, PALS, TNCC preferred.

Must-Have : Epic charting system experience required. Previous Charge RN & Level 2 Trauma experience preferred.

Description :

The candidate must be aware of the job responsibilities and requirements.

Flexibility with scheduling is necessary, as the client has a strict policy regarding tardiness and absences.

Candidates must not have any barriers preventing them from completing compliance on time.

All RNs are required to pass an EKG exam prior to starting.

Candidates are allowed two attempts at the exam.

Study material for the exam will not be provided, so preparation is essential.

The unit serves a diverse patient population with a wide range of conditions.

Daily interactions include collaborating with interdisciplinary support teams.

Special procedures include trauma, stroke, and cardiac care.

A minimum of two weekend shifts or four weekend days will be required every six weeks.

Holidays may also be required as part of the schedule.

Travelers may be required to float to other facilities if necessary.

Compliance with all requirements is essential prior to starting the position.
