The Watts Internship Program is strategically designed to allow you the opportunity to utilize what you have learned in the classroom while gaining a true understanding of the business world by applying those key principles through hands-on experience. During the internship, students will gain exposure to and impact operations. There will be many chances to network with like-minded manufacturing and industrial engineering professionals and stimulate your mind through cross-departmental collaboration.

As a Finance Intern, you will provide essential support to the Finance and Accounting team, assisting with daily operations, financial analysis, and accounting tasks. Throughout this 13-week internship, you'll collaborate with platform business partners and finance colleagues, gaining hands-on experience in core finance functions and exposure to key operational areas such as Production, Quality, and Health & Safety. Reporting to the Director, Internal Audit, this role is onsite and offers a unique opportunity to work on compliance testing, audit engagements, and other critical finance activities.

What You'll Do

• Help with Sarbanes-Oxley compliance testing and internal audit projects under supervision.
• Participate in audit projects at both domestic and international locations.
• Document workpapers following established audit standards.
• Conduct interviews with key control and process owners.
• Ensure adherence to company policies, standard operating procedures, regulations, and laws.
• Document audit findings and draft basic recommendations for improvement.
• Support in the preparation of detailed audit reports.

Working Conditions :

While performing the job duties, you will be working in an office environment. You will be required to work in the office at the North Andover, MA location three days per week (Monday - Wednesday) and can work remotely two days per week (Thursday and Friday).

The expected salary range for this position is $22 - $26 hourly. Actual compensation will be dependent upon individual skills, experience, qualifications, and applicable law.
