About the Position :
The Accounts Receivable Analyst will be responsible for managing customer accounts, analyzing payment trends, and resolving deductions in a timely and accurate manner. The ideal candidate brings a sharp eye for detail, strong Excel skills, and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues before they escalate.
Key Responsibilities :
Review assigned accounts weekly and ensure timely follow-up on outstanding invoices
Research and resolve customer deductions, chargebacks, and discrepancies
Collaborate cross-functionally with internal departments (sales, logistics, finance) to drive resolution on open claims
Maintain accurate and organized documentation of account activity and communications
Process and clear offsets, reconcile accounts, and match paybacks to open deductions
Prepare A / R reports and assist with monthly close activities as needed
Participate in ad hoc projects and cross-train within other finance functions to support team needs
Qualifications :
Associate or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
3+ years of experience in accounts receivable or deduction resolution required
Proficiency in Excel (formulas, Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs) required
SAP experience highly desirable
Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a high-volume setting
Familiarity with SOX compliance and internal control processes a plus
