Program Engineering Manager (PEM)
We are seeking a person desiring a career as a Program Engineering Manager (PEM) for our Fort Worth, Texas site. The candidate's role will require strong leadership and technical abilities to oversee engineering projects in the aerospace defense industry. As the engineering lead, the PEM (also sometimes referred to as the Chief Engineer) will serve as the technical conscience for this line of products and services. This requires a strong technical leader who understands the USAF and foreign air forces needs, Support Equipment (S.E.) product / system requirements, flight-line test equipment, and their mission and / or applications for ensuring fighter aircraft availability for both the flight-line and back shop. This position oversees the on-site engineers technical tasks, negotiates appropriate staffing, and is a key member of the product line leadership team. Other program stakeholders for which this technical leader interfaces are the program managers, contracts, finance, quality, operations, suppliers, and our customers. This engineering leadership position is involved in the complete engineering (ISO certified) lifecycle of products and programs from concept definition, through the proposal phase, requirements analysis, development and test, verification, and sustainment. This includes performing reviews of the various engineering work-products produced by the engineers during the lifecycle. In addition, key responsibilities include overseeing the engineering lifecycle associated with S.E. hardware and software modifications to meet aircrafts new capabilities. The PEM will review and approve engineering proposals (i.e., basis of estimates) in accordance with Certified Cost & Pricing Data requirements, as well as be an active participant in customer negotiations of our proposals. Excellent writing skills will be necessary in this role, to generate Cost and Technical Volumes for winning competitive proposals. Additional requirements for this position are subject matter expertise in aircraft systems (e.g., avionics, armament, electrical, etc.), the application of military standards to products, be able to conduct briefings to customers / stakeholders (e.g., technical issues, capability updates, product roadmaps, design reviews, etc.), and serve as a key technical interface to U.S. and foreign customers, and internal stakeholders. Additionally this technical leader should keep abreast of the latest technologies in the aerospace industry for potential integration into current flight-line and / or back-shop S.E. products. This includes the Air Force s flight line of the future applications, as well as modular open systems, and digital engineering initiatives.

Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range : $150370 - $255630. Please note : This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to : business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
