Tax Director – International Tax

Tax Director – International Tax CPA firm seeking a tax leader to help grow our New York City practice. This is an opportunity for a charismatic leader with expertise in international tax. Responsibilities :

• Manage client service relationships
• Conduct tax planning
• Oversee all aspects of tax compliance for individuals, corporations, partnerships, trusts and estates
• Maintain strong client relations and cross-sell services within the assigned group of clients
• Work closely with partners, managers, and staff to integrate practice development skills into a team approach to client service and new business development
• Manage, develop, train, and mentor staff on tax projects
• Advise clients with recommendations on business and process improvements and serve as a business advisor to clients Qualifications :
• Seven (7) or more years of progressive tax consulting experience
• CPA
• Master's in Taxation, LLM in Taxation or JD a plus
• Experience with a large public accounting firm or large law firm
• Excellent analytical, technical and tax accounting / technology skills with proficiency in US GAAP and tax compliance and consulting
• Experience training and developing staff
• Subject matter expert in International Tax
