Position Overview

We are currently seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our dedicated nursing team on the Evening shift (2 : 30 PM - 10 : 00 PM), with every other weekend required.

Your Responsibilities Will Include :

  • Providing resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance under the supervision of a registered nurse (RN).
  • Delivering age-appropriate care tailored to the physical and psychological needs of residents.
  • Assisting with daily living activities such as bathing, grooming, dressing, and obtaining vital signs.
  • Supporting residents in transferring, repositioning, and walking using proper techniques.
  • Creating a positive dining experience by assisting with meals and snacks.
  • Documenting resident interactions and communicating any changes to the charge nurse.
  • Participating in wellness and recreational programs to encourage resident engagement.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED preferred, but not required.
  • Minimum age of 16; prior clinical or nursing assistant experience in long-term care is a plus.
  • Required Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification with the State Board of Nursing, or state-certified CNA within four months of starting.
  • Completion of yearly competency testing and maintenance of continuing education credits (minimum of 12 hours annually).
  • For applicable states, certification with the Unlicensed Assistive Person (UAP) Registry may be required.
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license and meet medical qualifications if classified as a Sanford Category II Driver.
