Senior Tax Strategy Consultant

Our Tax Specialists provide essential strategies to minimize future tax liabilities, emphasizing a proactive approach that ensures ongoing monitoring and tax projections throughout the year prior to the final return preparation.

As a Senior Tax Strategy Consultant, you will collaborate closely with Financial Advisors to craft comprehensive financial strategies aimed at reducing clients' tax burdens. Your responsibilities will include conducting tax analyses and preparing returns, while also collaborating with specialists across the organization to uncover additional opportunities for our clients.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Analyze tax liabilities to identify opportunities
  • Prepare accurate tax projections
  • Manage preparation and filing of tax returns
  • Develop and deliver engaging presentations for clients
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients
  • Market and promote effective tax planning strategies
  • Participate in educational sessions and team meetings
  • Adopt a holistic service approach for high-net-worth clients
  • Ensure compliance with all industry regulations
  • Represent clients before the IRS and state revenue departments
  • Perform any other assigned tasks as necessary

Qualifications :

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines
  • Proven accountability and strong work ethic
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Self-motivated with strong leadership qualities
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • 6+ years of relevant experience in tax preparation and review
  • Active Enrolled Agent or Certified Public Accountant license is required
  • Possession of an active Preparer Tax Identification Number (PTIN)
  • Experience with CCH Axcess Software is a plus
