Boeing Defense Space and Security (BDS) is seeking Senior Computer Aided Measuring Specialists to join the CAMS Loft Tooling & TRACC team in Berkeley MO.

Position Responsibilities :

• Provides computer-aided measurement services in the form of measurement collection dimensional analysis and reporting modeling and system maintenance on a self-directed level
• Provides training and facilitates deployment
• Leads team through application for all tasks
• Proficient with Verisurf - 3D metrology software
• Provides fabrication support for tooling emergent products production prototype and engineering operations with computer-aided measurement services. Services provided in the form of measurement collection dimensional analysis and reporting modeling system maintenance and consultation
• Skill and ability to : collect organize synthesize and analyze data; summarize findings; develop conclusions and recommendations from appropriate data sources
• Knowledge of computer aided design tools and manufacturing systems (e.g. computer aided design / computer aided manufacturing (CAD / CAM) computer aided three dimensional interactive (CATIA) Mentor Graphics Unigraphics). Able to manipulate data sets (e.g. compare CATIA to measurement data create stereo lithography files)
• Knowledge of computer aided design tools and systems (e.g. computer aided design / computer aided manufacturing (CAD / CAM) computer aided three dimensional interactive (CATIA) Mentor Graphics Unigraphics). Able to manipulate data sets (e.g. compare CATIA to measurement data create stereo lithography files)
• Knowledge of tool functions and capabilities (e.g. indexing fixturing handling) to support the manufacturing processes and flow
• Knowledge of manufacturing methods fabrication processes (e.g. forming stamping machining heat treatment machines / machine tools cutting tools and fluids N / C programming instrumentation data acquisition and control systems). Ability to select the best method of producing parts tools or assemblies
• Work travel up to 10% of the time domestically
