Staffing Coordinator (Hospital)

KPC Promise Hospital of PHOENIX: The Staffing Coordinator maintains the master and daily staffing schedules, verifies current licensure/certification for nursing personnel, schedules contract personnel, plans staffing for each 24-hour period, monitors contract personnel licensure/certifications/evaluations and maintains records.

QUALIFICATIONS:

1. High School Diploma or equivalent

2. Medical terminology preferred

3. Basic typing and computer skills

4. Must be able to read, write, and speak English

PHYSICAL AND MENTAL REQUIREMENTS:

Physical: Walking – up to 10% Standing – up to 10% Kneeling - up to 5%

Sitting – up to 50% Pushing – up to 5% Bending – up to 5%

Squatting – up to 5% Pulling – up to 5% Reaching – up to 5%

Lifting – up to 50 lbs. Wrist/Finger Movements - up to 90%

Mental: Stress Level: Moderate to high

EXPOSURE RISK: Category III - Jobs in which required tasks involve no greater exposure to blood, body fluids or tissues than would be encountered by a visitor. The normal work routine involves no exposure to blood, body fluids, or tissues.

EQUIPMENT, TOOLS, MATERIALS, MACHINES USED : Telephone, facsimile machine, copier, printers, computers and other office equipment

CERTIFICATIONS : BLS Certified preferred
